Group Supervision One-off
A one-off group supervision session is for you to get a taste of the process, or to celebrate a win! Whether you’re considering utilising group supervision to further develop your team, or you’re aware of underlying issues that need to be addressed and aren’t sure how to approach things, a one-off session can give you and your team a sense of what group supervision can look and feel like before committing to any more sessions. During a one-off session we can gain a sense of potential buy-in from team members and begin the task of contracting if we are to proceed.
Group Supervision Bundle Package
A group supervision bundle package of three separate (2 hours each) sessions is for you if you have one isolated issue that your team would like to address. By allocating dedicated time for your team to come together on this issue, the issue (say a traumatic event, or internal conflict, for example) has the chance to be worked through. Session 1 will focus on group safety and validation. We will begin to name the issue, getting a sense of the team’s experience of the issue and to identify the objectives that the group would like to emphasise throughout the remaining two sessions. Session 2 will focus on the de-brief process and unpacking the issue itself, identifying the hard parts and gaining new insights from this event to take forward. Session 3 will focus on embedding the learnings recognised by the team and identifying solution focussed goal setting for moving forward. The bundle package offers you a brief experience of the process of supervision, through the lens of your isolated issue. Oftentimes, one core issue can unearth many others that are impacting the group and an ongoing group supervision option might be appealing.
Ongoing Group Supervision
An ongoing group supervision arrangement is for you if you want to address multiple areas of development as a team over a dedicated period of time. This option allows your team to really benefit from the process of supervision, enhance overall practice competence, resolve issues, develop self-awareness and grow in reflective practice skills. Having a regular group supervision space will give your team time to unpack practice concerns, address challenges (such as poor communication, workplace culture or conflict, for example), and allow for psycho-education on specialist areas I can bring to your team (such as trauma, mental health or family practice, for example).
